What are you going to do?

As our Account Manager you play a crucial role in the growth of our customer base, creating new business through leads in your network and beyond. With your interest in technology and innovations, you are an experienced discussion partner for prospects and potential customers. You help them define their needs and propose which solutions NMi have to offer them. You will be responsible for driving new business from prospect to customer, guiding them through the process from quote to order and setting up the project with the help of our Inside Sales and Operations teams. You will do this in both Dutch and English.

NMi has several business units in which we operate. The Account Manager will not focus on one of these units, but rather work across streams such as our Liquid & Gas, Utilities, Weighing & Mobility departments. Within these units you will contribute to tenders and tactical assignments as well as driving new business.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a sales expert par excellence, with the drive for personal and business growth. In addition:

  • You have an HBO degree in a technical field, preferably Industrial Engineering, Marketing Management or similar
  • You have extensive experience in Account management, preferably with a network in Utilities (residential water and gas, EVCS, smart meters, etc.), Mobility (police measuring equipment), Weighing (scales and other types of weighing instruments)
  • You have at least 5 years of business development experience
  • You know better than anyone that qualifying applications and projects is of great importance
  • You have experience tracking the development of projects in a CRM system (preferably Hubspot)
  • You are fluent in both English and Dutch, both written and verbal
