What are you going to do?
For our largest subsidiary in the NMi Group, NMi Certin B.V., we are looking for a Business Controller who has a hands-on mentality. You work at least 60% of the time from our location in Delft and the other 40% either from home or from the office. You act as sparring partner for internal stakeholders, working closely with the Operations Director, challenging him and the operations team in financial project management.
As Project Controller you are responsible for the financial administration for NMi Certin projects, overseeing the projects performance, financial management, forecasting and budgeting. You are a sparring partner for the Operations Director.
The role is not limited to project control as are also involved is various financial flows such as monthly closing activities. You report monthly figures and KPI’s, you assess and analyse results and margins, and play a pivotal role in professionalizing internal and external reports and processes. In addition you lead a team, guiding them in day to day financial flows such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and payrolling.
Job requirements
What do we expect from you?
We are looking for an analytical, decisive and entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on approach. You work independently and have a positive-critical attitude. With your advanced Excel and analytical skills, you have the ability to interpret data and develop actionable improvements. You are familiar with complex formulas, pivot tables and data visualization. In addition you have/ are:
- Completed a business economics or financial degree at least at HBO level
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills which enable you to navigate between different levels of the organisation
- Fluent in both English and Dutch, both written and verbal
- Experience with Exact Globe, Lucanet is an advantage
- Advanceds skills with Office 365, specifically Excel and Powerpoint
