Get to know NMi!
About NMi Group
NMi Group is a pan-European leader in the Advisory, Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Calibration (ATICC) sector, delivering complex, mission-critical assurance services throughout the full lifecycle of our clients’ systems and technologies. With a growing footprint soon encompassing over 500 talented employees with laboratories and offices in the United Kingdom, Benelux, Germany, Denmark and the United States, NMi Group serves a global customer base. Following recent investment by Bridgepoint Capital Partners, NMi is accelerating its buy-and-build strategy to become the leading international platform in the ATICC sector.
What are you going to do?
As Corporate Development Manager, you will play an essentia role in shaping NMi Group’s strategic direction and contributing to long-term value creation through targeted acquisitions. As a senior member of the M&A team, you will take ownership of executing the Group’s buy-and-build strategy — ensuring that each transaction supports our growth ambitions and strengthens our position in the ATICC sector.
You will work across the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification to post-deal transition, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including NMi’s executive leadership and private equity investor.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the execution of M&A transactions from initial assessment to closing, ensuring NMi’s position is well represented and protected throughout
Advocating for NMi during negotiations to secure commercially sound and strategically aligned deal terms
Conducting financial modelling, valuation, and risk analysis for potential targets
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess strategic, financial, and operational fit
Coordinating and managing due diligence across all relevant functional areas (finance, legal, HR, operations)
Preparing investment cases and board-level presentations to support decision-making
Monitoring market trends and maintaining a pipeline of acquisition opportunities aligned with NMi’s growth strategy
Supporting integration planning in collaboration with post-merger specialists
While the role offers a high degree of ownership, you won’t be working in isolation. You’ll be part of a dedicated M&A team, supported by colleagues focused on post-merger integration, a consistent pool of M&A interns, and senior team members actively involved in strategy and execution. This structure provides a strong foundation for collaboration, learning, and successful deal delivery.
