What are you going to do?
As Customer & Certification Specialist, you play a key role in supporting customers throughout their certification process. You ensure they receive clear, professional, and attentive guidance from the moment they enter the process until their certificate is issued. You do this by maintaining proactive communication, keeping their needs sharply in focus, and ensuring that certificates are reviewed and issued accurately. You monitor project progress and take responsibility for a smooth, efficient, and reliable customer experience.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues from various disciplines. In this role, you frequently interact with customers as well as internal stakeholders such as Technical Experts, Team Leads, Certification Engineers and the Certification Board. You will have the space to work independently, contribute ideas for process improvements and take ownership of your part of the work. You coordinate key activities, keep the CRM system up to date, and actively contribute to the quality of our services. With your proactive and service-focused mindset, you help ensure that customers feel heard, supported, and valued at every step.
Key Responsibilities
Customer communication: Answer questions, align expectations, and guide customers through the certification process
Collaborate with internal experts: Work closely with Technical Experts, Team Leads, Certification Specialists and the Certification Board in a culture built on teamwork
Manage project information: Enter, verify and maintain accurate project data in the CRM – ensuring data quality
Process documentation: Check, digitally sign, and issue reports and certificates
Maintain annual overviews: Keep track of projects, including police measurement instruments and tools used at vehicle inspection stations (APK)
Administrative processing: Ensure complete, accurate, and well-structured documentation for each project
Job requirements
What do we expect from you?
MBO 4 of HBO level of working and thinking. Your field of study is less important than your accuracy, eagerness to learn and motivation
3-5 years of experience in customer support, administration, or a similar service-oriented role, preferably in a technical or project-based environment
Proactive and customer-focused, with a strong sense of ownership over your work
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
Results-oriented and structured, with strong social and coordination skills
Accurate and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain CRM/ERP data without errors
A strong sense of responsibility, especially when reviewing, finalizing, and issuing certificates
