What are you going to do?

As Field Engineer no day is the same. You visit our customers, whether they are new or longstanding relations, where you perform inspections and calibrations of their measuring instruments. Your customers are mainly based in The Netherlands, but sometimes you will have to travel across the borders.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing inspections and calibrations of measuring instruments;
  • Independently performing measurements and calculations;
  • Assembling and disassembling equipment and installations as well as connecting measuring equipment;
  • Operating equipment and testing the way they work;
  • Determining approval or disapproval based on results;
  • Communicating with our customers in case of exceptional circumstances

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who works independently, but can also collaborate whenever needed. You communicate well with customers and colleagues who follows up their agreements. You are flexible and have the analytical ability to report on measurements and tests. It’s essential that you are able to keep an overview and report thoroughly on your measurements and tests in our computer system. In addition:


  • You are in the possession of a Dutch drivers license B and prepared to travel to our customers;
  • You are in the possession of a valid VCA-certificate;
  • You are a good communicator in both Dutch and English;
  • You can share a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) when starting employment withing NMi.
