What are you going to do?

As Quality Assurance (QA) Officer, you are part of the Technical Quality-Compliance team within NMi. Together with various business units, the department ensures that NMi’s various quality management systems (Accreditations, Designations and Certifications) are updated, maintained and comply with the requirements set by legislation and normative frameworks. The department makes an active contribution to expand and maintain our License to Operate (LTO).


In this position, you focus on Quality and LTO-related aspects in close cooperation with NMI’s Technical Manager and Safety Coordinators. You communicate the Quality-LTO-Compliance message on various levels within the organisation in a practical and pragmatic manner. Through collaboration you ensure that issues are proactively addressed.


In addition you are responsible for initiating, planning, coordinating and following up Quality-LTO-Compliance actions and issues in the broadest sense of the word and you are a real spider in the web. In this role, you are in constant contact with colleagues from various departments where you support them on various Quality-LTO-Compliance aspects. You take the initiative and pick up relevant issues as you find necessary.


Your duties include:

  • Follow up and monitor the Quality-LTO-Compliance actions;
  • Responsible for relationship management with the Accreditation Councils and maintaining our 17020/17025/17065 accreditations;
  • Participate in projects involving Quality-LTO-Compliance management;
  • Monitor audit schedules, audit results and actions;
  • Introduce the Quality-LTO-Compliance system to new colleagues;
  • Participate in the harmonization of the Quality-LTO-Compliance system;
  • Maintain the digital Quality-LTO-Compliance management system; including revision management;
  • Elaborate and implement company policies and procedures, related to quality and safety in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines of the organisation.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

You have a proactive attitude, can work well independently and know how to keep an overview in hectic situations. You are flexible, stress-resistant and a strong communicator. You have a proven track record of building sustainable relationships with important internal and external stakeholders. You can switch gear quickly and have great administrative skills. You have:


  • HBO/WO working and thinking level;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality role;
  • Experience with accreditations within the Benelux, e.g. ISO-17020/17021/17025/17065;
  • Experience with MS Visio and/or SharePoint is an advantage;
  • Experience with Manual Master is a plus;
  • Affinity with quality management (Quality-LTO-Compliance);
  • Possession of a driving license B;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
