Job description

Support the certification of safe and compliant products by ensuring sales processes run smoothly and reliably

Inspections and certification helps make sure products are safe and perform as expected, with the accuracy and precision needed in real-world use. From industrial equipment to everyday use, this gives both businesses and consumers confidence in what they rely on.

At NMi that accuracy doesn’t start in the lab - it starts much earlier, with how customer requests are handled. Clear quotations, complete information, and timely follow-up make all the difference in getting projects off to the right start.

That’s where you come in.

For our team, we are looking for a Sales Support Administrator who enjoys bringing structure to day-to-day processes, keeping things organised, and staying connected with both customers and colleagues. In this role, you take over customer enquiries once they have been discussed by the Account Manager. You prepare quotations, follow up on open requests, and make sure all information is complete and correctly recorded. You keep an overview, spot what still needs to be done, and take action to keep things moving.

You’re in regular contact with customers, answering questions, checking in, and making sure expectations are clear. At the same time, you work closely with Account Managers, Technical Experts, and Operations colleagues to make sure everything is aligned and handed over smoothly.

Because of your structured and proactive way of working, things don’t get lost or delayed. You help create a smooth process from the first enquiry through to execution - and in doing so, you contribute to the quality and reliability of the certification work that follows.

You’ll be working in a dynamic environment, where different requests and timelines run at the same time. You enjoy keeping overview, staying organised, and making sure things are handled carefully and correctly.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare quotations based on customer requests and input from internal teams

  • Follow up proactively on open quotations, requests, and recurring inspections

  • Make sure customer and order information is complete, accurate, and up to date in the CRM system

  • Coordinate requests with Account Managers, Technical Experts, and Operations colleagues

  • Check and validate confirmed orders before they move into execution

  • Be a point of contact for customers, helping them with questions and updates

  • Help improve the way we work by contributing ideas for smarter and more efficient processes

What you’ll get

  • A role where your work really supports the quality and reliability of our services

  • Close collaboration with colleagues across commercial, technical, and operations teams

  • The space to take ownership and organise your work in a way that works for you

  • An international working environment with colleagues and clients worldwide

  • A competitive salary based on your experience

  • A 13th month salary (paid monthly), holiday allowance, and profit sharing

  • 30 days of annual leave, with the option to buy and sell additional days

  • Hybrid working options

  • A solid pension scheme

  • Travel reimbursement, home office allowance, and collective health insurance

  • Access to sports benefits

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Fluent Dutch (native or near native) and an excellent command of English

  • Experience with customer service, sales support, or a similar role

  • Experience working with quotations, customer follow-up, and CRM systems

  • A proactive mindset - you don’t wait, you take action

  • A structured and accurate way of working

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders

  • Experience with HubSpot and/ or Exact Online is a plus
