What are you going to do?

As Technical Manager, you are part of the Technical Quality-Compliance team within NMi. Together with the various business units, the department ensures that NMi’s various quality management systems (Accreditations, Designations and Certifications) are updated, maintained and comply with the requirements set by legislation and normative frameworks. The department makes and active contribution to expand and maintain our License to Operate (LTO).

In this position, you focus on technical related aspects and the implementation of technical work processes in close coorperation with NMi’s Quality and Compliance Officer. You communicate the Technical Management message to various levels of the organisation in a practical and pragmatic manner. Through cooperation, you ensure that issues are addressed proactively.

In addition your are responsible for initiating, planning, coordination and following up with technical actions and issues in the broadest sense of the word and you are a real spider in the web. In this role, you are in constant contact with colleagues from various departments where you support them on various Technical Management aspects. You take the initiative and pick up relevant issues as you find necessary.

Some of your duties include:

• Follow up and monitor Technical Management actions;
• Responsible for carrying out activities that fall below our 17020/17025/17065 accreditations;
• Participating in projects where, from the technical point of view, Quality-LTO-Compliance Management is central;
• Monitoring work processes and actions;
• Introducing the Technical aspect of our Quality-LTO-Compliance system to new colleagues;
• Participate in the harmonization of the technical aspect of our Quality-LTO-Compliance system;
• Maintaining the technical aspect of our Quality-LTO-Compliance-Safety Management system, including revision management;
• Elaborate and implement company policies and procedures, related to quality and safety in accordance with laws, regulations and guidelines of the organisation.

What do we expect from you?

You have a proactive attitude, can work well independently and know how to keep an overview in hectic situations. You are flexible, stress-resistant and a strong communicator. You have a proven track record of building sustainable relationships with important internal and external stakeholders. You can switch gear quickly and have great administrative skills. You have

• HBO/WO working and thinking level with a technical background;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role, Technical Manager is a plus;
• Experience with accreditations within the Benelux, e.g. ISO-17020/17021/17025/17065;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
• Experience with MS Visio and/or Sharepoint is an advantage, Manual Master is a plus;
• Affinity with quality and/or safety management (Quality-LTO-Compliance) is a plus;
• Possession of a driving license B;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
