What are you going to do?
As a Technical Partner ATEX, you will combine technical authority with strategic insight to develop and expand NMi’s ATEX and IECEx services. Using your in-depth knowledge of ATEX technology and your extensive network within the ATEX industry, you will identify market opportunities, support the development of new services, and strengthen NMi’s position in the field of explosion protection.
You will play a central role in setting up ATEX services from our Delft office, ensuring high-quality operational delivery in line with international standards. Acting as NMi’s ambassador, you will engage with clients, CTOs, technical managers, and decision-makers, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, support service definition and improvement, and mentor colleagues in technical and operational aspects of explosion safety. This role can be based in Delft, collaborating with ExVeritas UK, or directly within ExVeritas, depending on location.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved ATEX, IECEx, and hazardous area services
Support the operational delivery of high-quality services in line with international standards
Define and implement internal service processes, procedures, and best practices
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and internal teams
Leverage your industry network to strengthen NMi’s market position and identify opportunities
Stay current on legislation, standards, and market developments in explosion protection
Mentor and support colleagues in technical and operational aspects of explosion safety
Job requirements
What do we expect from you?
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Extensive experience in explosion protection, ATEX, IECEx, or hazardous compliance, with a strong technical background
A strong network within the ATEX industry
Strategic insight and the ability to translate technical expertise into operational and service improvements or developments
Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Proactive, self-driven, and able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with teams
